TOLEDO, Ohio — Three people were left injured in a Northwest Township crash early Saturday morning, shortly after midnight.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a 20-year-old driver of a Chevrolet headed northbound on County Road 1.50 and failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of US-20. The Chevrolet driver was then struck by a 27-year-old Buick driver traveling eastbound and 46-year-old Volvo semi truck going westbound.

OSHP said the Chevrolet driver sustained minor injuries but was not transported. The Buick driver and his front seat passenger were transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. No one else was injured.
