TOLEDO, Ohio — Someone had a good day after playing the lottery in Toledo.
A lucky lottery player purchased a close to a quarter-million dollar ticket at a west Toledo gas station, the Ohio Lottery announced on Friday - $237,000 to be exact.
The winner, identified only as Cathy by the Ohio Lottery, purchased the Rolling Cash 5 ticket at the Alexis Mobil Mart on West Alexis Road and Laskey Road.
Cathy used the auto-pick feature to choose the winning numbers 9-19-30-32-36.
At the end of the day, Cathy will pocket about $170,640 after a combined 28% goes toward mandatory state and federal taxes — still not a bad payday when all is said and done.
