Wood County District Public Library hosting houseplant exchange event in October

Simply drop off a plant on Friday and get a ticket, then return on Saturday to grab your "new" plant.

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — Are you thinking of adding new plants to your home? 

The Wood County District Public Library in Bowling Green is hosting a houseplant exchange event on Oct. 25-26.

On Friday, Oct. 25, you can drop off your houseplants or clippings of healthy plants to the library from 1 to 5 p.m. to exchange with other community members. 

On Saturday, Oct. 26, bring your tickets back from 1 to 5 p.m. and exchange them for a "new" plant. 

For each plant or clipping dropped off, you'll receive a ticket to use for the exchange.

No registration is required. You can also bring leftover or unused pots to donate in the exchange.
