Wood County Sheriff's Department locates missing man who failed to return to jail

WOOD COUNTY, Ohio — UPDATE: On June 11, the Wood County Sheriff's Department stated in a press release that Deshetler has been located and is now incarcerated at the Wood County Justice Center.

The Wood County Sheriff's Department is asking for help in locating a man who did not return to jail after being temporarily released.

Ryan Jay Deshetler, 28, did not come back to jail last Friday after the Wood County Court of Common Pleas issued the furlough.

Deshetler was originally being held in the Wood County for violating his probation after being convicted for possession of cocaine.

He is described as standing 6 feet and 4 inches tall, weighing 265 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

Deputies say Deshetler lives in Toledo however his whereabouts are unknown.
