TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - A man who beat another man with a hammer was in court Monday.
Sidney Matthews attacked a man with a hammer causing injuries to the victim's face and ankle.
Matthews faces a slew of charges including felonious assault.
Matthews was assigned an attorney and will be back in court May 1.
His bond is set at $50,000
