OREGON, OH (Toledo News Now) - Mercy Health unveiled their plans to create a new medical office Tuesday.
The planned two story Mercy Medical Center will be built just east of Mercy Saint Charles Hospital in Oregon.
The space will be shared with Mercy Oregon Clinic, Toledo Clinic, and Toledo Cardiology Consultants. and create 20 new jobs.
In all, $9.7 million will be put into making the 40,000 square feet building, which will provide additional space for patients being cared for. Mercy Health Chief Operating Officer Imran Andrabi says it will also create 20 new jobs.
“This enables us now to create better access for the community, have services available at a very high quality in one area where people can go and have easy access in and out and be able to access primary care, specialties, diagnostics, lab, rehab,” said Andrabi.
Construction should finish around the Spring of 2016.
