Nature's Nursery hopes to help educate people to help themselves

WHITEHOUSE, OH (WTOL) - Nature's Nursery loves to help but one of their main goals is to help educate others so that they can help themselves.

They cover up to 22 counties and lately have been receiving hundreds of distress calls about animals a day. For them, it's nearly impossible to personally care for all animals, so the more knowledge they can spread the better.

Some of the confusion that they aim to clear up are common myths.

"It's an old wives tale that if you touch a baby bunny the mother won't take it back. Their whole purpose in life is to raise their babies, so they're going to take care of them even if you've touched them," said

Though they are incredibly busy, Nature's Nursery is not discouraging calls. Information and answers to questions may be found here.
