The Sandusky Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating an injury crash that happened late Tuesday night in Ottawa County.

CLAY TOWNSHIP, OH (Toledo News Now) - The Sandusky Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating an injury crash that happened late Tuesday night in Ottawa County.

The crash occurred at the intersection of State Route 51 and State Route 105 in Clay Township.

The OSHP says 18-year-old Morgan Work, of Luckey, failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the car being driven by 74-year-old Bruce Tucker, of Millbury.

Bruce Tucker and Sandy Tucker, also of Millbury, were both taken to the hospital with injuries. Bruce suffered a large cut to the forehead and left arm while Sandy suffered several cuts and scrapes.

Work was treated at the scene for possible injuries. Her passenger, a minor, was not injured.

Following the crash, both vehicles traveled off the left side of State Route 51. Bruce Tuckers vehicle then struck a tree.

Work was cited in the crash for failure to yield at a stop sign. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
