OTTAWA COUNTY, OH (WTOL) - William Liske Jr., 24, was arraigned Tuesday on $1 million bond after he was charged with one count of murder Monday.
Liske is accused of killing his father, William Liske Sr., his stepmother Susan Liske and her son, Derek Griffin Sunday.
Prosecutors say the killings were premeditated, so the charges could be escalated to three counts of aggravated murder. They also say Liske could possibly face the death penalty.
Lawyers say Liske had a violent past and that he could suffer from schizophrenia.
Additionally, Ottawa County Prosecutor Mark Mulligan says a potential witness spotted some aspects of the crime, but did actually witness the killings.
Liske is scheduled to appear in court again on Nov. 10.
