DEFIANCE, OH (WTOL) - The Ohio Department of Natural Resources announced the Oxbow Lake Wildlife Area boat ramp will be temporarily closed for repairs.
The ramp was found in need of repairs after a recent inspection, and will be closed until repairs can be complete.
ODNR says the lake will still remain open for shoreline fishing and other wildlife-related activities.
Oxbow Lake Wildlife Area is located about 10 miles northwest of Defiance.
Anglers wanting to fish from a boat are encouraged to visit Harrison Lake State Park, located at 26246 Harrison Lake Road in Fayette or Van Wert Reservoir #2, located on Peter Collins Road off of US 127.
