PERRYSBURG, Ohio — Voters on Tuesday chose incumbent Haraz Ghanbari in the Republican primary for Ohio's 75th House District, according to unofficial election results.
Ghanbari beat challenger Sally Culling, according to unofficial election results. He will face Democratic nominee Jan Materni, who ran unopposed, in the November general election.
Ghanbari, the incumbent, entered the race while in his second term.
Culling has not been elected to public office in the U.S. after legally immigrating from the United Kingdom 20 years ago. She told WTOL 11 she had previously been elected to office in the U.K.
