TOLEDO (WTOL) - Toledo Memorial Park had a special unveiling Sunday evening.
The park unveiled a memorial tablet of black granite, engraved with over 300 names of Lucas County soldiers and nurses who died during World War I and can be seen near Veterans Tower.
The names of those lost used to be at the base of trees planted in a field, that later became the cemetery.
The new memorial puts them all in one place for people to pay their respects.
