TOLEDO, Ohio — A new partnership between two Toledo favorites might just make you hungry.
The Toledo Museum of Art has started serving up favorites at the Museum Cafe with elements from local restaurant chain Pizza Cat.
They are sharing ingredients to create new dishes for diners at both locations.
This dish is called pizza gnocchi.
It's made with fresh vegetables, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and Pizza Cat sauce.
The decision to team up grew from the Block Party that both organizations will be taking part in next month.
"This is kind of the beginning, I hope, of us working with a lot of other community restaurants and chefs and people and really trying to support the community that supports us as much as possible," Joe Felix, Head Chef at the Museum Cafe explained.
Hats off to the chef.
The delicious promotion starts this week.
They will have new, creative dishes and even burgers with the signature sauces available every week for the next month or so.
Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are available at the Cafe as well.
