TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - Toledo police say they have new evidence that may help them solve the case of Samone Anderson who was murdered 21 years ago.
She was found dead on her front porch. Police say her throat had been slit and that she had several stab wounds. Pieces of her clothing had also been removed.
The investigation went cold until recently when DNA was found on some of her clothes.
Daughter Tamika Anderson, who was 5-years-old at the time of the murder, says she hopes this break might be the end to her nightmare.
"Then I would know the person who did it isn't out on the street living their life like everything is a okay," she said.
