TOLEDO -- A central Toledo woman was found dead in her car this morning. Now Toledo detectives are trying to solve the city's latest homicide. Detectives say a person riding a bicycle discovered the body of 39 year old Crystal Hunt just after 9:00 Saturday morning. Hunt was reportedly slumped over the wheel of her car, parked at her home in the 900 block of Forest Avenue. She had been shot in the head.
She was last seen alive Friday night at a graduation party for a family member. Paula Knowles is a relative. She says Crystal's death is senseless. "My auntie was a loving, bubbly person. There was no need for this. She always had a smile on her face. Whenever she entered a room, you always knew she was there."
Crystal is survived by several family members. They say they're proud of the way Crystal worked her way out of Toledo's housing projects and into home ownership. No arrests have been made.
