FINDLAY, Ohio — The city of Findlay is selling total solar eclipse banners beginning April 22.
The banners will sell for $50 each on a first-come, first-serve basis, the city said in a social media post on Wednesday.
Anyone interested in buying a banner must go to the mayor's office at 318 Dorney Plaza, Room 310, during normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The city is only accepting cash or check for the banners.
Findlay experienced totality for more than 3 minutes and 40 seconds during the eclipse on Monday.
Various businesses hotels, restaurants and retail in Findlay spent months preparing for the day, according to Alissa Preston, a member of the city's tourism board.
The next time Ohio will see a total solar eclipse is Sept. 14, 2099, when the path of totality will stretch from Montana to Ohio to North Carolina. Toledo, Columbus and Athens will be in the path of totality.
