(Toledo News Now) - Finally, the Erie Street Market is for sale! It's about time!
Mayor Collins has declared enough is enough. This is a wise decision. After decades of aborted redevelopment plans and odd efforts to make it seem successful, the city is going to sell it and get it off the books.
Given the renewed interest in downtown, a viable buyer may indeed surface. If so, that would be great.
In the meantime, the city has put the property up for bid. I guess any reasonable offer will be accepted.
