WATCH: Bowling Green holds weekly college football press conference ahead of regular season finale

The Falcons will hit the road to take on Western Michigan on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. as they close out the regular season.

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — Bowling Green football held their weekly press conference on Thursday as they get ready for the final game of the regular season.

The Falcons are coming off a heartbreaking loss to Toledo in the Battle of I-75, but look to end their regular season schedule on a high note.

"The fact of the matter is on Tuesday night, you had two really good football teams play each other in a great rivalry game," said Bowling Green head coach Scot Loeffler. "I'm very, very proud of our football team. We've finally gotten that rivalry the way that it's supposed to look. Obviously, we always want to come out on the other end of that, but unfortunately, it didn't happen. That's why they're rivalries."

BGSU will now be traveling to Kalamazoo to take on Western Michigan on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m.

"We've got the opportunity to have the first winning team, winning record here since 2015. We got a chance to win eight ball games with the toughest schedule in the MAC and we're a good football team," said Loeffler. "We found who we are and I think our program just keeps on getting better and that's what I want and that's what our whole goal is. Every year we've gotten better and we need to finish now. We got to finish against Western Michigan who is a damn good team."

The Falcons are also bowl-eligible for the second straight season.
