NORTHWEST, Ohio — Toledo and Bowling Green football are going bowling, and on Sunday, both programs found out where they will be headed for their bowl games.

Toledo will play Wyoming in the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl on Dec. 30 at 4 p.m.

BGSU will play Minnesota in the Quick Lane Bowl at Ford Field in Detroit on Dec. 26 at 2 p.m. This is the same bowl game the Falcons played in last season.

The Rockets fell short in their bid for another Mid-American Conference championship on Saturday after losing to Miami.

The Rockets rallied off 11 straight wins heading into the MAC Championship game after losing their season opener to Illinois in week one. They were ranked as high as No. 23 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll.

Toledo earned bowl eligibility for the 14th consecutive season, standing as the eighth-longest streak in the FBS and the second-longest among "Group of Five" schools. Last year, they beat Liberty in the Boca Raton Bowl.

As for the Falcons, they will have their first winning season since 2015, having finished the regular season with a 7-5 overall record.

This will be their second consecutive bowl game that they have played in. BGSU lost to New Mexico State in last year's Quick Lane Bowl at Ford Field in Detroit.
