COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Big Ten Conference released Ohio State's 2024 football schedule on Thursday.
The Buckeyes will have eight home games next year, beginning with Southern Mississippi on Aug. 31.
Ohio State will only be on the road four times. That includes a trip out west to play one of the newest members of the conference, the Oregon Ducks.
The Buckeyes will also have two bye weeks. After starting the season at home against Southern Mississippi and Western Michigan, the Buckeyes are off on Sept. 14. They are also off on Oct. 19 after the Oregon road trip.
All four road games come against Big Ten opponents - Michigan State, Oregon, Penn State and Northwestern.

- Sept. 14 – Off
- Sept. 21 – Marshall
- Sept. 28 – at Michigan State
- Oct. 5 – Iowa
- Oct. 12 – at Oregon
- Oct. 19 – Off
- Oct. 26 – Nebraska
- Nov. 2 – at Penn State
- Nov. 9 – Purdue
- Nov. 16 – at Northwestern
- Nov. 23 – Indiana
- Nov. 30 – Michigan
