Everything you need to know about the 2024 LPGA Dana Open

The tournament tees off July 18 from Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania. We have info on who's playing, how to get tickets and more.

SYLVANIA, Ohio — Some of the best golfers in the world will once again be making their way to northwest Ohio for the LPGA Dana Open.

Round one of the 40th anniversary of the tournament tees off Thursday, July 18 at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania and concludes with the final round on Sunday, July 21. The final round can be watched live on WTOL 11 beginning at 2 p.m.

WTOL 11 will have you covered all week on air and online beginning with our Teeing Off the Dana Open special sponsored by Yark Subaru, which airs from 5:30-6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17.

TICKET INFORMATION

Single-day grounds tickets are available for purchase for $20. Any Day Grounds tickets will allow you access to the grounds on either Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

Weekly grounds tickets are available for $60, allowing you access to the grounds Tuesday through Sunday.

Military, law enforcement, first responders and medical services will receive free admission to the tournament. To claim a free ticket, visit this link.

Children 17 and younger get in free as well but will need a ticket to enter the tournament on both practice round and competition days. Children must be accompanied by a ticketed adult upon entry.

The tournament's first round on Thursday, July 18 will be Senior Day. Those aged 55 and up will receive free admission and free parking.

The final round of the tournament on Sunday, July 21 will be Family Day. All families will receive free admission, free parking and buy one get one hot dogs.

PARKING

General parking for the tournament is $10 daily and or $20 weekly at the Public Parking Lot B at 5002 Centennial Road near Brint Road in Sylvania.

Shuttles are available to ferry guests from the parking lot to the course.

WHO'S PLAYING?

This year's tournament features the past two winners of the Dana Open: Linn Grant (2023) and Gaby Lopez (2022). The tournament has also received a commitment from World No. 15 Xiyu Lin and Lexi Thompson.

16-year-old Mia Hammond, an Ohio native who took last year's tournament by storm, finishing -6, was invited back to this year's tournament.

ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT

The tournament is 72 holes over four days from July 18-21. This year's purse is $1.75 million, with the winner taking home $262,500.

While it's garnered several names over the years, this will be the 40th anniversary of the Dana Open after it began in 1984.

Since 1984, the tournament has contributed close to $14 million to over 200 Toledo area children's charities. This year's tournament will help benefit the following charities:

  • Jamie Farr Scholarship Fund of the Greater Toledo Community Foundation
  • Maumee Habitat for Humanity: Women Build
  • Nationwide Children's Hospital - Toledo
  • ProMedica Russel J. Ebeid Children's Hospital
  • Ronald McDonald House Charities of NW Ohio

In 2023, the Dana Open helped distribute over $215,000 to 16 northwest Ohio children's charities and awarded college scholarships to five area high school seniors.
