Oak Harbor's introduction into the NBC resulted in the same fashion as their exit from the Sandusky Bay Conference: An undefeated conference title that led to another double-digit win campaign.

A perfect 7-0 record in NBC play set the tone for other members as they won by an average of 37.7 points per game. Not one conference game got decided by single digits last season.

"All of the guys are excited to play and we have a ton of experience," senior Michael Lalonde said. "Everybody is willing to go out there and do whatever it takes for our last year, to go as far as we can."

With 13 seniors returning for the team, Oak Harbor believes they have the parts to replicate that success.

"We're very excited. We've been saying for many years that we want to go accomplish something big and this is our last go-round," senior Jacob Ridener said. "We know we got to put in the work because this is the only chance we got."

Ridener and Lalonde both earned All-State honors a season ago.

Since 2018, this program has eclipsed 10+ wins and a playoff victory four different times. A standard that now provides the opportunity for school history.

"Definitely see the maturity, business-like in everything they do," head coach Mike May said. "We now have the opportunity to win three straight league championships, which has not been done here before. So that's one of their big goals going into the season."
