CANTON, Ohio — The field is getting narrower in the state football playoffs but a handful of northwest Ohio teams are still hoping to punch their ticket to the championship.
This is the fourth round of the playoffs.
Once again all games will be played at neutral sites, to keep things fair for everyone.
All games kick off at 7 p.m.
Here’s a look at the field for Friday Nov. 17:
D-III
- Central Catholic vs. Tiffin Columbian (@ Robert J. Bishop Jr. Stadium – Clyde)
D-IV
- Sandusky Perkins vs. Cleveland Glenville (@ Mercy Field at Ely Stadium – Elyria)
D-V
- Liberty Center vs. Coldwater (Spartan Stadium – Lima)
D-VI
- Columbus Grove vs. Bluffton (Donnell Stadium – Findlay)
D-VII
- Patrick Henry vs. McComb (Buckenmeyer Stadium – Napoleon)
Michigan playoffs are also still going.
Defending state champion Whiteford is in the state semifinal and will take on Richard on November 18.
In 8-man football, Lenawee Christian is playing in the state championship game against Marion on November 18.
