TONTOGANY, Ohio — Otsego High School has found their next head football coach and it's a name familiar to northwest Ohio and the Northern Buckeye Conference.
The school announced on Tuesday that Craig Rutherford will be taking over as head coach of the Knights, pending board approval.
Rutherford spent last season as the defensive coordinator at Anthony Wayne High School. Previously, he was the head coach at Eastwood High School for six seasons.
Rutherford will be taking over for Josh Lindke who left to be the head coach for St. Francis de Sales football.
Otsego finished the 2023 regular season with a 4-6 record before losing in the first round of the playoffs to Oak Harbor.
