TOLEDO, Ohio — Waite High School linebacker Damien Harrington's one-handed interception against Bowsher on Thursday earned the No. 1 play on SportsCenter's Top 10 plays.
The sophomore's eye-popping interception came late in the first quarter as the Indians led the Blue Racers, 6-0. The pick, caught on video by WTOL 11's Tyler Seggerman, then made it to the top spot on SportsCenter Thursday night.

"I was just covering my guy and next thing I know, the ball is coming my way," Harrington said. "Knew I had to make a play on it and just looked the ball into my hand as I jumped."
Harrington said a lot of it was just being in the right place at the right time for his first career interception.
"My teammate Terron Belle and I discussed a couple plays earlier that if they lined up a certain way, that we should switch which helped lead to me being in the right place for the interception."
After realizing it made SportsCenter's top spot in the Top 10 plays, Harrington's dad, Geo, said, "Unreal to see that."
Waite though would go on to fall 20-18 after Bowsher scored a touchdown on fourth down with six seconds left in the game.
