TOLEDO, Ohio — After the first three games in Toledo, the Walleye have taken to Kansas City for the remainder of the Western Conference Finals in the Kelly Cup Playoffs.
The Fish dropped the first two games to the Mavericks before taking game three over Kansas City at the Huntington Center. Toledo went on to lose Game 4 in KC before winning Game 5 to make it a 3-2 series.
The Walleye take to the ice for Game 6 on Monday as they look to force a series-deciding Game 7.
The Mavericks have been Toledo's toughest test of the postseason after sweeping their first two series over Kalamazoo and Wheeling. Kansas City won the Brabham Cup for the most points in the ECHL during the regular season.
The winner of the Toledo-Kansas City series would face the winner of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Adirondack Thunder and the Florida Everblades. Florida has been the Kelly Cup Champions for the past two seasons.
