'A house of pain': CIW returns to Toledo on Sunday for 'End of the Road' show

The six-match card will take place at St. Clement Hall in west Toledo. Toledo's own Saint Brothers will perform as part of the lineup.

TOLEDO, Ohio — The boys are back.

Championship International Wrestling is set to return for another show in the Glass City. Tickets run from $10-$22 with the event taking place on Sunday at 5 p.m. inside St. Clement Hall in west Toledo.

CIW's "End of the Road" will feature a six-match card, one of which includes a trio of locals, Kenny Urban of Sylvania and the Saint Brothers, who represent Toledo.

"Honestly, first things first that we're even going this far," Corey Saint said. "Of course, as kids, we always dream of it and we're actually brothers so we've thought about it since childhood."

Corey and his brother Chase will battle the Voodoo Beast Cult inside the ring and work their magic on the crowd.

"We're always jumping around, that's our thing," Corey Saint said. "We're going to show them what a house of pain is."

The brothers jumped into professional wrestling after the COVID-19 pandemic and now train at Skull & Bones, a professional wrestling and fitness facility on West Laskey Road in Toledo.

"We grew up watching wrestling and since we were kids we would wrestle each other in the living room," Chase Saint said.

On top of their duel, the main event will feature Michael Elgin and CIW World Champion Malice in a 60-minute Iron Man Match.

CIW is once again working with Lucas County Special Olympics, handing out free tickets for athletes to attend Sunday's festivities.
