TOLEDO, Ohio — St. Francis de Sales School on Monday announced it is accepting applications for the vacant head varsity football coach position.
In a post to X, formerly known as Twitter, the high school asked that candidates submit a cover letter and resume to egomez@sfsknights.org by Nov. 10.
Previous coach Charles Woolridge, who was new to the west Toledo school, resigned in September after coaching four games. He was also a faculty member.
The school has not provided a reason for Woolridge's departure.
The Knights ended the regular season with a 1-9 record, losing 28-11 to Bedford on Oct. 20.
