TOLEDO, Ohio — Fans of the Toledo Walleye are getting their second opportunity to mingle with their favorite players in as many weeks.
On Tuesday, February 13, players will be trading their skates for aprons as they wait tables at both Inside the Five restaurants.
The celebrity wait night is also serving as a fundraiser for Lucas County Canine Care & Control as all of the players’ tips will be donated to the organization.
The fun begins at 5 p.m. and goes until 9 p.m. at both Inside the Five locations, on Main Street in Sylvania and on West Third Street in Perrysburg.
On Wednesday, Walleye players joined fans at the Glass City Metropark ice skating ribbon. That event was sold out.
Lucky fans got autographs and photos at that event.
