ERIE TOWNSHIP, MI (WTOL) - Two people died in a crash early Thursday on Suder Avenue near Sterns Road, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Department
Police say Charles Roberts, 16, of Luna Pier and Daniel Cessna, 20, of Erie died on the scene.
Matthew Phelan, 20, of Luna Pier and Michael Smith, 23, of Erie were injured in the crash and flown to an area hospital. Both are listed in critical condition.
Only one vehicle was involved. Investigators say Roberts lost control of the vehicle around 2 a.m. and that it rolled over and landed in a ditch.
The crash remains under investigation.
