(Toledo News Now) - We're not pouring bubble bath into a tub; it's Squishy Baff. The makers promise we can turn water into goo and turn it back again. To be safe though, we're trying it in a kiddie pool.
Heather Craft followed the specific instructions for the kiddie pool, but it's going to take a lot more packages of Squishy Baff before the mini pool is full of goo.
She dumped it into a small container, just to see if the gunk really turns into goo.
It's a hit for toddlers and kids alike. So, that gave Craft the idea: Turn their water table into goo for even more fun.
In no time, there's just enough to add in and make it extra gooey. The kids love it, making squishy beards and sitting in it. But, will mom and dad like it come clean-up time?
"I don't see it going down the drain," said Craft.
The directions say to dump in special dissolving powder and swirl around. Immediately, Craft can feel the goo dissolving and turning back to water. However, she said after six hours the goo still did not entirely wash down the drain or fully turn back into water like promised.
Plus, at two bath packs for $10, it could take some cash to fill up a tub or kiddie pool. So, she'll stick to the small water table and make it a fun, outdoor toy.
"I'd give it a 'C,'" said Craft.
Squishy Baff, which can be bought at Target, soaks up a passing, average grade "C" on this Does it Work test.
