TOLEDO (WTOL) - The threat of a mass attack was suddenly focused on the Toledo bar scene.

Investigators say 23-year-old Elizabeth Lecron wanted to attack an identified second-floor bar in Toledo; one that only has two exits.

While the FBI isn’t releasing the name of that bar, Lecron was said to frequent The Attic on Adams at least one to two times a week.

“She’d usually get a jack and coke,” said Amelia Jarret, General Manager of The Attic.

Jarret and her staff even knew Lacron well enough to know what she drank.

“To see anyone’s face that you recognize on the news is shocking to see someone who you’ve interacted with and you know they had such hate for others is awful. It’s devastating,” she said.

Jarret said when Lecron came in, usually with a group of friends, she was respectful.

“She was polite, she never was mean to anyone, she would be nice to other people, but not in any creepy way,” said Jarret.

However, other employees we spoke to, told us something seemed off about Lecron.

She was described as quiet, keeping to herself, and came in often enough to know not just her drink order, but friends she came in with, too.

While the entire situation has Jarret shaken up, she wants people to know The Attic’s number one priority is the safety of everyone who comes in.

“We go out of our way to protect our customers, to make sure they get rides home, we call Ubers for our customers,” said Jarret. “There’s so many dangers in the world for people and then you have one here. Our goal is to keep customers safe.”

Jarrett also said she doesn’t believe The Attic was the target, as investigators stated earlier the bar Lecron planned to attack only has two exits, while The Attic has four.
