Port Clinton, Ohio - PORT CLINTON, OH (WTOL) - Ottawa County Sheriff Bob Bratton confirms a small plane carrying the pilot and one passenger safely made an emergency landing at Erie-Ottawa Regional Airport.
The plane was preparing to land Saturday morning when the landing gear failed to deploy. The belly of the plane landed on the runway instead. The plane skid until coming to a stop in the grass nearby.
The two passengers were not seriously hurt. Their names have not yet been released.
