LONDON (CBS) - Michael Jackson's fans in London were among the first to hear the late singer's new song, the first to be released since he died, from the upcoming album 'This Is It.'
A preview of the song was released on the singer's web site. The song can not be purchased yet, as it not being released as a single. The album, available worldwide Oct. 26 and 27, can be pre-ordered while viewing the song preview.
The song arrived Monday, Oct. 12 at Sony headquarters in London from a van surrounded by a security escort. A handful of fans had gathered for the improvised premiere. Michael Jackson's fan, Daniel Halawi, who had been waiting since 2 a.m., said he was confident that the single would become one of the biggest hits ever.
Disc one of the album features some of Jackson's classic hits in the order they appear in the film, finishing with the song 'This Is It', which features backing vocals by Jackson's brothers.
The music will be featured in the forthcoming film 'Michael Jackson's This Is It', built around rehearsal footage for Jackson's planned London concerts.
