(Toledo News Now) - When looking for a quick meal on the run for your family you may want to be cautious about where you go. This week, restaurants popular for their chicken, pizzas and subs had a number of violations that may have you avoiding them altogether.

Church's chicken on West Bancroft had 11 violations this week with two corrected during inspection. Dirty pop nozzles were found, along with a hand washing sink being used for other purposes and sanitizer not strong enough to kill bacteria.

Happy's Pizza on Sylvania Avenue also had 11 violations with two corrected during inspection. There inspectors found no towels or a hand dryer for employees to dry their hands at the hand washing sink. Non-food contact surfaces including shelves and the outside of the oven were dirty. Plus, there was general dirty and debris found throughout the building.

Bambino's Pizza on Eleanor Avenue had seven violations with food found not properly date-marked, no certified person in charge of the restaurant when the inspector came by and ham held past its expiration date.

Subway on Monroe Street had six violations with one fixed while the inspector was there. There inspectors found that the sanitizer wasn't strong enough, there was buildup in the ice machine and there was dust on the fans in the walk-in cooler. The manager does say that most of the problems have been fixed and that the store is just waiting for a new tile to come in to replace a broken one.

It was a different story at the Subway on Glendale inside Walmart. There inspectors found no violations.

And if you're looking for a sweet treat, the Dairy Queen on West Alexis also had no violations. That facility was said to be well-maintained.
