TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - David Hilbert has some advice for those that want to try to play him in pool:
"Come on up and ask. Hopefully you'll win, but you probably won't," he said.
Yes, here is a man that is confident in his craft.
"To walk up to a table and not allow your opponent to shoot is a great feeling," explained the 28-year-old Toledo resident.
Hilbert has only been playing pool for six years, but he's already making a name for himself. Just last month at one of the top amateur events in the country, he won the 8-Ball Championship at the National North American Pool Association Championship in Mississippi.
"Either way, I went down with the mindset to have fun and have a good time," said Hilbert. "Once I started winning, it caught up to me and it was surreal."
