LUCAS COUNTY, Ohio — Two people are in the hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a drunk driver in Springfield Township early Friday morning.
The crash happened at Holland-Sylvania Rd. and Perrysburg-Holland Rd. around 2:45 a.m.
Police say a woman in a Honda turned right onto Holland-Sylvania Rd. from Perrysburg-Holland Rd. and went left of center and hit a Dodge car.
The two people in the Dodge were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police say the woman was speeding and had been drinking, and doesn't remember how the crash happened.
The crash is under investigation.
