TOLEDO, Ohio — Four people are injured following a crash in south Toledo Tuesday evening.
The crash occurred around 6 p.m. at the intersection of Hill Ave. and Independence Rd.
Officers said an SUV went left of center, striking another car, before then causing a third to be hit.
According to Toledo police, out of the four injuries, one was serious and another is considered life-threatening.
In the 911 call, a witness said the incident was unlike anything he'd ever seen.
"It was like a bomb just dropped in the middle of the street. I could see from a window a bumper flying so I said, 'let me call the police," the caller told dispatch.
"I've never seen anything like this. The engine is out of the care here. All three of these cars are totaled out here," he continued.
At this time, the names of the victims have not been released.
