TOLEDO, Ohio — The accident occurred on Miami Street and Hathaway Street in east Toledo.
The driver left the roadway and struck a pole, downing a wire on Hathaway.
The driver was taken to the hospital, and Toledo Edison crews were on-site to make repairs.
