SYLVANIA, Ohio — A crash involving a box truck and a semi closed westbound Central Ave. just past Centennial Rd. in both directions in Sylvania Twp. on Wednesday afternoon.
Ohio State Highway Patrol told WTOL on the scene that witnesses said the driver of a Menards semi-truck went left of center and struck an oncoming box truck, which then flipped on its side. Both drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to the hospital.
At this time, it is unclear what caused the driver of the semi-truck to cross into the center lane.
The crash remains under investigation.
