SENECA COUNTY, Ohio — A Detroit man is dead following a crash Friday night at the intersection of State Route 635 and County Road 592 in Seneca County.

Emily Stall, of Findlay, was traveling eastbound on County Road 592 while Ricardo Thompson, of Detroit, was northbound on State Route 635.

Police say Stall failed to stop at the stop sign and struck Thompson's car in the left front. After the impact, both cars traveled off the northeast side of the intersection into an adjacent cornfield.

Thompson was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Clarence Durliat, of Findlay, was a front-seat passenger in Stall's car. They suffered minor injuries from the crash and were released at the scene. Police say they were wearing seat belts.

Police say alcohol and drugs are not considered to be a factor in the crash. The incident is still under investigation.
