SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A portion of Dorr Street in Springfield Township has reopened, according to traffic tracker OHGO, after an overturned semitrailer forced authorities Tuesday to close the road and an exit ramp from I-475.
The crash happened just after noon when a westbound semitrailer overturned on Dorr Street near Windjammer Apartments. All lanes of traffic were closed in the area, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said in a media release Tuesday afternoon.
The I-475 southbound exit ramp onto Dorr Street was closed, according to the Springfield Township Fire Department.
"The commercial load spilled an oil substance into the roadway," OSHP said. "The roadway will remain closed for an extended period of time for cleanup."
The fire department described the spill as "non-hazardous."
No injuries were reported by OSHP.
