TOLEDO, Ohio — In a press release Thursday, according to the City of Toledo Public Serice Transportation Department, two traffic-related closures will be in effect in downtown Toledo over the next two days for construction projects.
The first closure will be on Friday, June 5 beginning at 5 a.m. with a scheduled finish at 11 a.m. Adams St. between Erie St. and Huron St. will be closed to traffic to accommodate a crane in conjunction with a Toledo Edison project.
The second closure will be of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Bridge between Summit St. and Riverside Dr./Boers-Boyer Way St. The closure begins on Saturday, June 6 at 6 a.m. and is scheduled to reopen at 12 p.m. This closure is for annual maintenance of the bridge.
Drivers are advised to take an alternate route during this time.
