TOLEDO, Ohio — A 22-year-old man is dead following an overnight crash on Dorr Street, Toledo police confirmed Wednesday morning.
According to a police report, 38-year-old Roderick Foster of Toledo was headed eastbound on Dorr Street. As he went through the intersection at Byrne Road, 22-year-old Nicholas Spino of Toledo made a left turn from Byrne onto Dorr.
Foster to hit Spino's vehicle, pushing it over a concert median and into the left turn lanes of westbound Dorr Street where it came to rest.
Spino was pronounced dead at the scene.
Foster was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
So far, neither driver has been determined to be at fault for the collision. However, the investigation is ongoing.
The section of Dorr Street between Byrne and Secor was closed for several hours Wednesday morning, but has since reopened.
