FINDLAY, Ohio — The I-75 southbound ramp to U.S. 68/state Route 15 in Findlay, a route commonly taken to go from northwest Ohio to Columbus, will temporarily close on Tuesday, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
The ramp will close "for a couple of hours" between 8 a.m. and noon on Tuesday to reset a light pole, ODOT District 1 said in a social media post on Monday.
Drivers should take the following detour, according to ODOT:
- I-75 southbound to state Route 235
- SR 235 back to I-75 northbound
- I-75 northbound ramp to U.S. 68
Since the closure is short, a detour sign will not be posted.
Road work is also taking place about 10 miles further down SR 15.
ODOT began removing median pavement last week to turn a portion of the highway into limited access. Crews have implemented passing lane closures in both directions.
Further work will take place at the beginning of December.
