SYLVANIA TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A single-vehicle crash involving a semitrailer has closed the westbound I-475 ramp to southbound US-23/475 Sunday morning.
The crash happened early Sunday morning on the ramp to I-475 westbound at the US-23/475 split in Sylvania Township. The driver of the semitrailer lost control due to fatigue and overturned on the ramp, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers at the scene.
The crash spilled diesel fuel and debris onto the roadway. It is unclear if anyone was injured in the crash. The identity of the driver has not been released.
In a social media post Sunday morning, the Ohio Department of Transportation advised drivers to "plan an alternate route for at least the first half of the day."
Drivers should expect delays and use caution in the area.
