TOLEDO, Ohio — According to Toledo Fire and Rescue dispatch, a call came in of an injury accident around 6 p.m. Crews responded to the scene, finding an overturned semi-truck on SB I-75, just under the Bancroft St. overpass. The driver was removed from the semi-truck and transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. There were no signs of another vehicle involved.
The accident closed the interchange split from EB I-475 to SB I-75 as well as SB I-75 to Collingwood Blvd for a couple hours Thursday afternoon, causing an extensive back-up in the area.
HAZMAT assisted TFRD in clearing the incident.
