SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A Springfield Township intersection will see a closure this summer while crews construct a roundabout, the Lucas County Engineer's Office said in a press release Friday.
The construction will take place at the intersection of Hill Avenue and Centennial Road beginning Monday, June 10. The closure will span a 45-day period.

During the closure, drivers can utilize the following detour routes:
Hill Avenue:
- Crissey Road from Hill Avenue to Angola Road
- Angola Road from Crissey Road to King Road
- King Road from Angola Road to Hill Avenue
Centennial Road:
- Nebraska Avenue from Centennial Road to King Road
- King Road from Nebraska Avenue to Angola Road
- Angola Road from King Road to Centennial Road
Construction will be completed by the Great Lakes Demolition Co. of Clyde, Ohio, awarded as a contract from the Lucas County Commissioners.
