Secor Road bridge over Ottawa River reopens following 7 months of construction

The bridge was closed in early January for a replacement and installation of new approach pavement.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Construction on the bridge carrying Secor Road over the Ottawa River has been completed. The bridge reopened Wednesday.

The project, which was completed in collaboration with the city of Toledo and the village of Ottawa Hills, began on Jan. 3, 2023.  During construction, the bridge was completely replaced. New sidewalks and approach pavement were also installed.
