NORTHWEST, Ohio — The Ohio Department of Transportation Toledo District 2 said that I-475 northbound will be reduced to one lane on Saturday between the Maumee River and Airport Highway.
Northbound traffic will be moving over to new pavement and work is likely to take all day, according to ODOT. Every on and off-ramp northbound will require multiple short-term closures and there is no schedule for when a ramp might be closed.
The department is suggesting that if drivers have an option of an alternate route, they should take it or plan for a delay going north.
Southbound traffic is expected to move over to the new pavement sometime around Jan. 6, weather-dependent.
ODOT also announced that the ramp from westbound US 24 to northbound I-475 is anticipated to reopen on Wednesday, Dec. 20.
